Ensuring students have access to reliable internet is an important part of supporting our students learning. For families without internet service at home, the district offers Wi-Fi hotspots for checkout on a first-come, first-served basis. These can be requested by contacting your school technology specialist. Additionally, several internet providers offer affordable connectivity programs for eligible households.   • Comcast's Internet Essentials - Internet Essentials has connected over 10 million low-income individuals for over 10 years to fast, reliable internet. Get speeds up to 75 Mbps for only $14.95/mo — good for online learning, working from home, video calling, and other essentials.
     
  • Xfinity WiFi Free for Everyone - Xfinity WiFi hotspots across the country will be available to anyone who needs them for free – including non-Xfinity Internet subscribers. For a map of Xfinity WiFi hotspots, visit https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/wifi. Once at a hotspot, consumers should select the “xfinitywifi” network name in the list of available hotspots, and then launch a browser.Find hotspots at local businesses like coffee shops or apartments, so you can connect from home if you’re within range.
     
  • AT&T Access Program: Access from AT&T is a low cost home internet service available to eligible limited income AT&T Internet and AT&T Fiber households who participate in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), National School Lunch Program. The standard $30/ mo. Access from AT&T plan comes with unlimited monthly data. Eligible households whose maximum available speed available at their home is 50 Mbps or less and who do not need unlimited monthly data may qualify for a lower priced offer.
