The Board of Education of Cary Community Consolidated School District 26 is pleased to announce a comprehensive search for the next superintendent to lead the district into a promising future.   • September 2 – Position advertised and promoted by HYA
  • September 22 to October 6 – Online survey open for community and stakeholder input
  • September 29 – October 1 - Focus groups and interviews conducted with key constituent groups
  • December – Board reviews applicants and selects semi-finalists
  • January – Board interviews semi-finalists and identifies finalists
  • January – Finalist interviews and superintendent selection
  • January – Contract negotiations with desired candidate
  • January – Targeted announcement of new superintendent
