Welcome to Deer Path School’s PTO! Our PTO is proud to bring dozens of programs and fundraisers to our school to provide educational and entertaining activities throughout the school year. Our fundraising efforts provide us with the ability to purchase materials for classrooms, students, and teachers. Throughout the year, we also provide many family-friendly events to build our Deer Path community by giving our students and their families time to socialize outside of the school day.
Our mission is to support and enhance the parent, student, teacher and school administration relationships. Our programs are separated into four categories:
- Fundraising Efforts
- Academic Enrichment
- Family/Community Support
- School Improvement
We are proud of our accomplishments and the opportunities we give the children of Deer Path. These fantastic programs can only happen with the efforts of parent volunteers. Our volunteers are as diverse as our programs: stay-at-home parents, working parents, parents who have a few hours to give, parents who prefer to work behind the scenes and parents who are interested in helping with many events. There are opportunities for everyone to get involved. Our events are spread throughout the whole school year; with some activities in the classroom, during the day, in the evening or on the weekend. Please contact any PTO board member if you are interested in getting involved. For additional information, please read the PTO Program Guide section posted online.
Deer Path PTO has their own website (www.deerpathpto.com
). Parents will be able to purchase items (ex. directory or yearbook), view PTO meeting minutes, activity flyers, and newsletters. We are excited for this additional way to communicate with our parents.
We also have a facebook page to give you the most up-to-date information. Like us on Facebook- Deer Path Elementary School PTO.
Our 2018-2019 PTO Meetings will be held the First Thursday of every month at 3:35 PM in the Learning Center of Deer Path. Join us! New ideas are always welcome, and children are too!
