Transportation

Our mission is to provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation for all students, ensuring they arrive at school ready to learn and return home safely each day. We are committed to maintaining high standards of service, with well-trained drivers, regularly inspected buses, and a focus on punctuality and safety. Whether you’re a parent looking for route information or a student preparing for your daily commute, our team is here to support your transportation needs.
In accordance with state law, the Board of Education provides transportation for students living more than 1.5 miles from school. During the first few days of school, we appreciate your patience as we address any routing adjustments.
Students may only ride the bus assigned to their legal residence. With parent permission, they may get off at another stop along their route, please send a note to the driver or contact the Transportation Office.
Families with childcare arrangements outside of their assigned route must arrange their own transportation. Transportation is only provided between a student’s legal residence and their assigned school.
To ensure safety, the Board has established clear rules and expectations for all bus riders.
Students who misconduct themselves on a school bus may be suspended from riding the school bus.
If you have any questions, our Transportation Department can be reached at 224-357-5130.
