Effective 3/1/2006, Cary Community
Consolidated School District 26 has joined the McHenry County Online
Application Consortium. If you are someone who applied before 3/1/2006
, we encourage you to complete the new application which is being used
in many districts. Most of your data will be transferred automatically.
Access our previous
system for look up reasons only.
To establish a
complete application file, it is recommended you file the online application
and scan the following items for attachment: a resume, transcripts,
your credential file or at least three letters of recommendation and
your teaching certificate(s) if available. Your application materials
will remain in active status for one year (if you wish to reactivate,
you must visit the site and update your file.
If your qualifications
meet our needs, administrators will contact you for further information
and a possible interview. Interviews will be scheduled only for those
applicants being given consideration for a specific teaching position
where a vacancy exists and all items requested above have been provided
for review by administrators. Individuals selected and invited for an
interview will be requested to bring original transcripts to the interview
appointment however participation in the interview process does not
ensure employment. All teachers must fulfill the State requirements
for certification.
If offered employment,
you will be required to pass a medical examination with negative TB
test results. You will also be required to be fingerprinted for a background
check submitted to the Illinois State Police and the FBI; results must
be returned for review prior to the first day of employment.
All personnel
NOT required to have teacher or administrative certification through
the State of Illinois are considered Educational Support Personnel (ESP).
This would include all administration center support staff, instructional
aides, bus drivers, secretaries, office personnel, lunchroom/playground
supervisors, custodians, technical support staff, health clerks, registered
nurses, etc. We feel these staff members are the backbone of our district
and make our district one of the best in the area to work. Therefore,
we are always looking for caring, thoughtful, dedicated and loyal individuals
interested in working for a great district. The most important step
in applying for a position with District 26 is completing the online
application and attaching a resume. Paper applications for ESP applicants
are also available upon request from the Administration Center .
We do post openings
internally for at least one week prior to searching for new candidates;
therefore, it is sometimes advantageous to start in one position while
waiting for a position you prefer to become available.
Thanks for your
interest in our school district.
